A Wellness Giftcard works as prepaid credit rather than being tied to one fixed treatment.

The recipient can choose from participating BeWellness resorts in the Netherlands and Belgium and decide whether to spend the balance on admission, treatments, food and drinks, or a combination of wellness experiences.

Current Gift Cards are valid for 2 years from the issue date, and the balance can be used over several visits.

 

 

What Can You Buy with a Wellness Giftcard?

A Wellness Giftcard is all about taking some time out and choosing the experience that feels right.

You can use it for a day at the sauna or spa, a massage or beauty treatment, or food and drinks during your wellness visit.

So the recipient does not have to decide everything in advance. They can choose a participating resort, book their visit and use the Gift Card toward the parts of the experience they actually want.

 

 

Important: Understanding Wellness Giftcard Region Restrictions

The Wellness Giftcard uses EUR and is primarily intended for participating BeWellness resorts in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Current participating locations include resorts such as Elysium, Veluwse Bron, Zwaluwhoeve, Thermen Holiday, SpaSense, SpaPuur, SpaWell, SpaWeesp, Thermen Barendrecht, De Valkenberg and Hezemeer in Belgium.

It should not be treated as a universal European spa voucher. Always choose a resort listed as a current Wellness Giftcard redemption partner.

Digital Wellness Giftcards are delivered very quickly by email.

The official FAQ states that an e-card is normally received almost immediately and always within one hour after successful payment as a PDF sent to the email address selected during checkout.

The digital Gift Card is already active when received, so it does not require the separate activation process used for some physical cards.

Yes, in the sense that the card can only be used within the participating Wellness Giftcard / BeWellness resort network.

Yes. Wellness Giftcard is an official prepaid wellness product issued by International Wellness Resorts B.V., the company behind the program.

The Gift Card is officially sold through the Wellness Giftcard webshop, BeWellness resorts and selected retailers.

For a specific digital code to be trusted, purchase from the official Wellness Giftcard store or a reputable authorized retailer and keep the order confirmation until the balance has been successfully used.

To use a Wellness Giftcard:

  1. Choose a participating BeWellness resort.
  2. Make your reservation.
  3. Select Wellness Giftcard as the payment method when the booking process offers the option.
  4. Bring your physical card or digital e-card to the resort.
  5. Present it at the reception desk.
  6. The eligible amount will be deducted from the Gift Card balance.
  7. Pay any remaining amount with another accepted payment method if necessary.

An important detail is that the Gift Card is not currently used as a normal online payment card. You can select it when reserving, but the actual Gift Card payment is processed at the participating resort reception.

No. You do not need to spend the entire Wellness Giftcard in one visit.

The card supports partial redemption, and any unused balance remains available for another visit within the validity period. You can even use the remaining balance at a different participating BeWellness resort.

For example, if your Gift Card contains €50 and you spend €35 during your visit, the remaining €15 stays on the card for another eligible wellness experience.

If your bill is higher than the remaining Gift Card balance, you can pay the difference at the resort using PIN/debit card, credit card or cash. Multiple Wellness Giftcards can also be used where supported.

The remaining balance cannot be exchanged for cash, and an existing Wellness Giftcard cannot be used to purchase another Wellness Giftcard.
